The Batch Driving Licence Check offers our customers the ability to process large numbers of candidate Driving Licence Checks in a single file. Batch checks are particularly useful for retrospective or annual employment screening programmes.

Where is this check appropriate?
- For employers looking to conduct driving licence checks as a batch exercise and then looking to repeat the exercise periodically in the future
How does the process work?
1. Employers get their drivers to complete the simple 1-page DVLA mandate available to download within the 'My Account' area of the KYC website
2. Log in and purchase the corresponding number of checks by choosing the Batch Driving Licence check option from the menu. Simply enter the number of checks and pay, no data entry regarding the employees is required
3. Send the completed mandates to KYC and let us know how often you want to check your drivers based on the number of penalty points that appear on their licence
4. KYC processes your checks via the DVLA, consolidate the results in Excel (as per the sample report) and return the results to you
5. A fortnight prior to the next point in the check cycle you will receive an email from KYC listing the drivers who are due to be checked
6. You respond to confirm the list is correct (deleting leavers / adding any new starters) and purchase the corresponding number of checks online and send the completed DVLA mandates to us for any new starters
7. KYC processes your checks - repeating step 4
Other useful information:
- Once your employees have completed the DVLA 3-year mandate you will not need to involve them in the process for the next 3 years - saving time for them and administration time for your HR department
The frequency at which the checks are completed is entirely flexible and driven by you
