In 2009 the employment screening market wasn’t friendly to SME’s. Lengthy set-up procedures, no readily available pricing information, fixed term contracts with minimum spend obligations and having to buy a package of checks just to get a single component were all typical requirements.

All unnecessary hurdles and really unhelpful if you are a small business screening a handful of employees each year or only require a single background check component to compliment the checks you’ve already completed in-house.

So we set about building an employment screening service which fixed all these problems and works regardless of whether you're screening just a few candidates or a few hundred.

Our Story

Fixed-term contracts with minimum spend obligations are replaced with true pay-as-you-go flexibility and no minimum spend. Instead of set packages we allow our customers to order background checks in any combination or just a single component on its own. We are transparent and place as much information online as possible, our pricing, useful resources and customer testimonials are just a click away.

Many years later we're going from strength to strength with over 2000 customers across financial services, technology, recruitment, legal, facilities management, transport, manufacturing and leisure sectors. As it turns out it's not just small businesses that appreciate our straightforward approach - several larger businesses with 1000+ employees are happy KYC customers.
